Confetti Popcorn
This is a fun treat for Everyone! And Easy to make!
So can anyone tell me WHAT HAPPENED TO APRIL? Really. Where did it go? For some reason, April started and then all of the sudden May was here. What?!...double take.
Well, I guess being sick. Then having the sickness sweep through the family. Plus getting engrossed in "The Hunger Games"...might have something to do with it.
Well, I guess ON with May! May I love May. And May you too.
Here is the recipe...
Ingredients:
*For each color you need the following: (And I made 3 colors)
1/2 cup unpoppped popcorn, popped (will make about 12 cups)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 4oz jello (Any flavor, you choose)
I saw this recipe on Pintrest. I had to try it!
Prep: Prepare a large jellyroll pan with parchment paper or greased foil. And preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
First: Pop your popcorn. Plain. Place in large bowl.
Next in small saucepan, melt and mix 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 small package jello. Over medium heat, bring to soft bubbles and cook for 6 minutes, stirring frequently.
Let cool for a few minutes and pour over popped popcorn. Stir quickly. Spread evenly over jellyroll pan.
Place in oven and cook for a total of 30 minutes. After each 10 minutes, remove and stir/flip and continue to cook.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. Repeat with other flavors/colors. Enjoy!
